This holder is made by lost wax casting, one kind of investment casting process which is using a middle temperature, and another process

is using a lower temperature which is also called water glass casting. 

Lost wax casting, used since ancient human civilizations, and still utilized in reproducing the finest complex shapes in all metals. 

--Developed as combination of art, religion and metallurgy, beautiful sculptures have been made through the ages. 

--Since the fourth century BC, China has been a leader in investment casting. 

--With multiple processes, lost wax casting could acheive a very nice surface and also a good quality. 

Lost wax process step by step:

--Make the mold according to customer's specfications. 

--Inject the hot wax, then cooling it down in mold.

--Trim each wax, heat them onto a wax tree, ready for spraying. 

--Place the upended trees on a moving rail, spray a fine ceramic. 

--3 weeks kiln dried up, then heat the mold and pur out the wax.

--Hot metal liquid will be poured into wax.

--Chip off ceramic from the product, and final product is ready. 

--A secondary operation be managed if you have such require.
